Convert JPG to PDF
Put photos and scans into one PDF, one image per page. Drag them into order, choose the page size and margins, and save. Your images stay on this device and are never uploaded.
Drop images here
You can also paste images with Ctrl+V. Works with JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF and BMP, and HEIC in Safari.
How to convert JPG to PDF
- Drop your images on the page, or choose them from your device. You can pick many at once.
- Drag the images into the order you want, or use the arrow buttons. Turn any image that is sideways.
- Choose a page size, orientation and margin. The preview shows each page as it will be saved.
- Press Make PDF. The PDF downloads to your device.
Photos, scans and screenshots in one PDF
Each image gets its own page, scaled to fit inside the margins without being cropped or stretched. Auto orientation turns each page to match its image, so landscape photos get landscape pages. To email a big batch of phone photos, tick "Make the PDF smaller": the images are resized and saved as JPG, which often makes the PDF ten times smaller.
Questions
Are my photos uploaded?
No. Your browser builds the PDF on this device, and your images are never sent to Nookbyte or anyone else. The only thing the page downloads is code: its PDF writer, when you first use it.
Is it free?
Yes. There is no account, no watermark and no limit on how many images you add.
Will the images lose quality?
No, not by default. JPG and PNG images go into the PDF exactly as they are. Only if you tick "Make the PDF smaller" are they resized and saved again as JPG, which is how the file gets smaller.
Which page size should I choose?
A4 is the standard paper size in most of the world, and Letter is the standard in the US and Canada. Fit image makes each page the same shape as its photo, with no white space, which suits sharing on screens.
Will sideways phone photos come out the right way up?
Yes. Phones store which way they were held, and the tool uses it to place every photo upright. If one still looks wrong, turn it with the rotate button on that image.
Which image types work?
JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF and BMP work in every modern browser. HEIC photos from an iPhone work in Safari. In other browsers, convert them to JPG first with the HEIC to JPG converter on this site.
How do I make the PDF smaller for email?
Tick "Make the PDF smaller". 2000 pixels on the longest side stays sharp on screens and prints well up to about A5, and quality 80 keeps photos looking the same. For the smallest file, choose 1200 pixels.
PDFs are read with pdf.js and written with pdf-lib, both free open-source software.
