  3. Pick a corner or spread it across the photo, then set the size, opacity and angle. The preview shows the selected photo.
  4. Download the photo you are looking at, or all of them in one zip file.

Questions

Are my photos uploaded?

No. Your browser adds the watermark on your own device. The photos are never sent to Nookbyte or anyone else.

Is it free?

Yes. There is no account, no limit, and no Nookbyte mark added to your photos.

Will my photos lose quality or size?

The width and height stay the same. JPG photos are saved again at quality 92, which looks the same to most eyes, and PNG photos stay lossless. WebP photos stay WebP in browsers that can save WebP, and are saved as PNG in the others.

Can I use my logo?

Yes. Choose Logo and pick an image of your logo. A PNG with a transparent background looks best, because only the logo itself is placed on the photo.

Where should a watermark go?

A small mark in a corner keeps the photo clean and still shows who took it. A mark repeated across the whole photo is much harder to crop or edit out, which suits proofs and previews you share before a sale.

Can a watermark be removed?

A corner mark can be cropped off, and editing tools can paint over small marks. A tiled mark across the whole photo, at around 30 to 50% opacity, is the hardest to remove while the photo stays easy to see.

Does it keep the location and camera details?

No. The new files leave out the location, date taken and camera details stored in the originals.
